What our customers say:
Suddenly, we were about 30 per cent faster with the VarioLöffel than when using the traditional trench clearing bucket. We are now frequently commissioned by towns and municipalities to carry out this work, as they have realised that it is faster and cheaper when we do it this way.
In the three weeks since the VarioLöffel was delivered, we have already achieved as much as we normally do in the entire winter season. If we continue like this every winter season, we will have this profile in all of the municipality's ditches in 3 to 4 years – which is very important for flood protection.
There are many products on the market, but I only want Holp devices because, in addition to the standard angle, only Holp offers a 90-degree angle, high oil flow and an extremely robust and durable design. This is important to me because I demand a lot from my devices.
The increased flexibility of the excavator arm allows the driver to further reduce the workload for the people in front of the machine, so that they hardly have to do any manual work at all. In addition, the RotoTop has a compact design that enables it to withstand heavy loads. There are no protruding parts on any side, which means that there is no risk of damage from getting caught on roots, etc.
Since I got the RotoTop, I have been able to work faster and more efficiently, as I can carry out almost all tasks precisely with the excavator and manual labour is practically eliminated. This increases my productivity and yield. I have never had any problems with the device; it is top quality.
My expectations of the RotoTop were exceeded; I can really feel that it is very light, even though it has a hydraulic quick coupler attached. This is particularly important for smaller machines.
We also want to minimise physical strain on our employees. The RotoTop is a great help in this regard, as it allows all of these attachments to be rotated endlessly and used flexibly, which is particularly important in narrow gardens and minimises laborious manual work.
The RotoTop saves me one employee. This makes us much faster, because there is hardly any more of the unpopular manual work to be done, so no one has to fiddle around with pipes or corners with a shovel.
The entire system is really compact and robustly built. The RotoTop can handle anything, from slow and fast rotations to long, hard operations with various buckets and hammers. Its flexibility and oil flow to the attachment are unbeatable. This allows us to complete our jobs much faster.
Thanks to RotoTop, we can now work with smaller groups on the construction site. When our skilled machine operators are sitting on the excavator, we can save on manual labour, which we cannot find on the labour market anyway. This technology helps us to complete our orders faster, more precisely and with less manual labour, thereby increasing performance and, of course, profits.
For years, we have been equipping all excavators weighing 5 tonnes or more with a RotoTop, and now we also have the RotoTop for mini excavators weighing 2.5 tonnes or more. It is very robustly built and offers high cost-effectiveness thanks to its flexibility.
The RotoTop reduces manual labour, which not only lowers the workload for employees and the overall processing time, but also reduces machine downtime. In addition, we always save on the purchase of attachments for the rotary motor, which allows us to further reduce costs.
My main concern is making work easier and avoiding manual labour, which the RotoTop does thanks to its flexibility, because I always want to be able to do everything with the excavator, right down to the last shovel. Since there are only two of us working, it would also be very uneconomical to have to constantly get in and out of the excavator.
To make work easier for our employees, we use the RotoTop. This saves us having to hire an additional employee on site who would otherwise always have to do the manual work – we can't find anyone like that on the labour market anymore anyway. We have now practically forgotten how to excavate without the RotoTop.
No one except Holp offers an oil flow rate of 120 litres with its RotoTop – so you are equipped for every attachment and every tough job. What's more, excavating without RotoTop feels like working with a plaster cast on your arm.
From my perspective, the Holp system is a simple uncomplicated way of achieving 80% of what a full blown “tilty” can for effectively half the price, and we can still use our regular buckets. We are proud to have invested in the first unit to be sold in the UK, we’ve been very pleased with it so far and hope to be putting them on some of our other machines going forward.
We always use the excavator arm like our own hand, the RotoTop is the wrist, everyone can work very delicately with it, and we now also use the excavator for material logistics. For us, excavator operation has definitely become something completely different since we started using the RotoTop.
It took a bit of getting used to it, but now I wouldn’t want to be without it. The benefits are unbelievable, for example the RotoTop decreases labour for the groundworkers considerably. The use of RotoTop leads to massive improvements for the workflow on site.
With RotoTop, it's completely different. The many possibilities it offers essentially change the entire basic principle of excavating. Once you really internalise the fact that you can do anything with the 360° rotation and the flexibility it offers, you become faster and more efficient. I estimate that we save 40 to 50 percent of our working time, which significantly increases our yield.
The creation and maintenance of ditches is an active flood protection measure that should be implemented regularly along roads and paths and also on private property as a preventive measure. The creation of ditches is particularly quick and efficient with the help of RotoTop and VarioLöffel.
With our small team, it is very important for us to complete our tasks quickly and effectively, so eliminating manual labour with the shovel helps us a lot. All in all, the RotoTop makes our work much easier. We will always install a RotoTop on every excavator we purchase in the future.
The RotoTop is very compact and robust in design, and therefore requires little maintenance. There are no external components on the device, which is important in civil engineering. This allows us to pass between existing pipes without bumping into or damaging anything on the construction site or on the device itself. With a RotoTop, you can really reach every corner, which ensures the precision work that is so important in civil engineering.
