We offer you an alternative with our RotoX® . If you want to realize the final 5 to 10 percent of movement capacity and, in doing so, can accept up to 100 percent additional weight and construction height on your excavator.
ROTOTOP® WITH TILT UNDERNEATH
EXCITING EFFICIENCY - WITH ALL ATTACHMENT TOOLS AT ALL TIMES
It is possible to perfectly perform 90-95% of all work with rotation - and that at a low construction height and therefore almost without any power losses. When rigidly mounted, the operator may quickly get used to his “wrist” and use it optimally. A tilt rotator always means both a greater dead weight and a greater construction height which negatively affect the over-all performance and break-away forces of the excavator. Additionally, there are extra costs involved, such as for retrofitting the controls in the excavator.
Those who still cannot do without the final 5-10% of additional value should mount the tilt underneath the RotoTop® . This may initially sound unusual, but it is very economic. In doing so, you can attach the tilt when you actually need it! Positive effect at the construction site: The tilt in the sandwich position can be used as a flexible extension of the excavator’s boom. This brings about decisive advantages e.g. in sewer construction.

In case you are not be able to cope with the solution of pure rotation and a swivel bucket or a tilt in sandwich design on your construction site, we can of course retrofit the RotoTop® to a RotoX® for you.
In no time at all, we can unscrew the bolted mounting plate for mounting on to the excavator or the sandwich design from the RotoTop® and replace it with a tilt plate. This is made possible by our modular system! The solution is a tilt module without cylinder for excavators with an operational weight of up to 10 tonnes with a swivel angle of 2x 90° and for excavators up to 36 tonnes with a swivel angle of 2x 60°. In other words, we equip our RotoX® with all the advantages that you’re already familiar with from our RotoTop®.
OPTIMAL PIPING FOR MORE SAFETY
OIL QUANTITIES REACH THE ATTACHMENT TOOL WITHOUT NOTICEABLE LOSSES
Our generously dimensioned rotary joints ensure with both our RotoX® and RotoTop® that there is always a sufficient oil quantity available for the attachment tool and that no thermal problems occur during long-term use. For this to work, the oil is fed directly into the rotary joint via the piping without having to pass through many screw connections on the way, thus always passing through cleanly.
TILTING WITHOUT CYLINDER
ROTOX® MAKES FOR MORE MOBILITY AND A BETTER VIEW
For those who do not have a strong focus on earthworks, loss of tear-out force, great construction height as well as additional weight do not play the biggest role with a tilt rotator. We developed our tilt rotator RotoX® without cylinders for those cases where larger swivel angles are required. The RotoX® provides a better view, has no protruding parts and is consequently less damage-prone. This developed product has successfully been in use since 2007.
OUR ROTOX®’S EFFECTIVENESS
Two Different Rotary Joints
Our RotoX® provides nearly the same possibilities as our RotoTop®: You won’t see overheating or a high dynamic pressure in long-term usage. Our standard rotary joints offer a larger line cross-section than currently usual on the market. Since the term “highflow” is already used for smaller cross-sections, we take the liberty of claiming the term "megaflow" for our large cross-sections.
High Robustness
Our RotoX® is well-known for its robustness as well. Here, as is the case with our RotoTop® via the original Powertilt and the mounting suspension, power is transmitted directly via the screws and bolts and the slide bearing to the attachment tool without transmitting any power via the housing.
Constant Work Rhythm
We equipped our RotoX® with a RotoTop® featuring the large 6 or 8-way rotary joint in combination with fully hydraulic quick-couplers. This allows all attachment tools to be picked up directly from the operator's cab, so that operators can stay with their task all the time and don’t have to leave the excavator.
Durable
Our worm gear is greased which contributes to its very long durability. No oil is leaking and greasing is easily controllable. RotoX® may also be connected to a central lubrication system without any problems.
Safer
No parts are protruding- in this way, you can avoid damage and work in risk areas, which remarkably increases safety on the construction site.
Cost Savings
Your excavator must be moved and repositioned essentially less, since the possibilities have increased due to 360° rotation. The time saved leads to more efficiency when carrying out jobs and ultimately to more profit.
Warranty
Our RotoX® is that robust that we recommend rigidly mounting it to your excavator. Warranty is for one year. The centrepiece - our RotoTop® boasts a warranty of 3 years or 3,000 OpHrs.

Gardening and Landscaping
When used in very narrow construction sites such as small gardens or in backyards, our RotoX® assists you in reaching and working every corner without repositioning the machine, thus enabling you to secure the remaining mobility percentage of your attachment tool.
Road Building
In road building, in confined areas, the RotoX® allows each section to be worked without moving the excavator too often, which saves time.
Sewer Construction
When laying and backfilling pipes, you can reach all areas with the help of the RotoX® and avoid damage to adjacent components, which in turn helps you to complete jobs faster and more cost-effectively.
Tunnel Construction
Maximum mobility even below the ground when building tunnels – our RotoX® flexibly works here as well, without frequent repositioning, reducing deadline pressures.
Earthworks
The RotoX® facilitates modelling, levelling and much more with the help of its large swivel angle, which is made possible by the cylinder-free design.
Special Foundation Engineering
If the excavator works in situations that are not commonplace, such as those that occur in special civil engineering, for example in the mountains, the RotoX® ensures the necessary maximum mobility.
